Dragon Kids Program
The Dragon Kids program has been designed specifically for young children ages 4 to 6 and includes fun games, exercises and learning basic martial arts (self-defense) skills. This program offers children a strong foundation in essential character-building qualities such as courtesy, respect and discipline. In addition, the program will help improve your child’s motor skills and enhance their ability to pay attention and follow directions. Your child will learn basic self-defense techniques in a controlled, safe and fun environment. Techniques will encompass basic blocks, strikes, kicking, avoiding techniques, and basic breakfalls and rolls. Classes are available either once or twice per week for forty-five minutes. All Dragons will have the opportunity to advance through the Dragon Kids belt program. Once a Dragon has reach 6.5 to 7 years old, they will have the opportunity to transition to the Junior Samurai program.
